The shape is based on the concept of a "strong form". The composition must respond to the status of a public facility with a strong and identifiable signal, without agitation, in a serene and durable manner. Our design is concerned with preserving a great spatial and functional consistency which, without being too ostentatious, develops an assertive presence. It symbolically opens up to the city, with the aim of generating both a unitary principle on an urban scale and a rich and revealed interior, where transmission, exchange and sharing are convivial and peaceful. This principle of volumetry makes it possible to take advantage of urban and landscape qualities of the location while ensuring the best spatial optimization of the plot. We aim to respect and enhance the context of neighbouring dwellings and the existing urban pattern, in terms of implantation and size, by remaining rather low and on the same level as neighbouring buildings.
